Freezer Paper Quilting
Naomi Bombardi Wilson will present a demo on how to freezer paper a block based on Burst by Leanne of Devoted Quilter
You can purchase the pattern here: Burst
For Saturday, please make sure you have traced the template pattern provided at the last meeting onto at least two pieces of freezer paper (Draw the pattern on the paper side, the shiny side is where your fabric will ‘stick’)
*You can successfully use one freezer paper template for at least 5 blocks depending on your fabric and how many threads it leaves behind.
Time Saver:
Pre-cut your fabric to the following sizes for this template(inches):
A1 – 2.5 by 6.5
A2 – 2.5 by 3
A3/A4 – 3.5 by 7.5
Tools Required:
Add-A-Quarter Ruler™ OR your favorite ruler that you can use to measure out ¼”
Scissors
Rotary cutter
Cutting mat
Sewing machine (I will bring mine if you can’t bring your own)
Iron
Ironing board or wool ironing mat
Credit card
